Miles that Matter: London Marathon 2027

Thank you for supporting me on this journey to raise funds for, and run with, an organization that means so much to me. 

Many of you already know that my mom has been courageously battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer for the past few years. Her treatment plan involved difficult decisions and risks, but thanks to the dedication of her incredible medical team, cutting-edge research, and advances in modern medicine, she's still here today and doing well.

Because of the results of her treatment plan, her case will continue to contribute to ongoing research, helping doctors better understand this disease and improve treatment for future patients.

Our family is deeply grateful for the researchers, oncologists, and all the other healthcare professionals who made this possible. By supporting this fundraiser, you're helping advance the kind of research that gives families hope. My goal is to help ensure that more people—and more moms—have the same chance that my mom did.

Why World Cancer Research Fund?

Every day around 1,100 people will hear the words ‘you have cancer’. Over 420 of these cases could have been prevented, that’s a staggering 155,000 people every year. World Cancer Research Fund, are passionate about reducing this number.

As part of an international network of charities, they’ve been funding life-saving research, influencing global health policy and informing the public since 1982.

While society continues to search for a cure, their prevention and survival work helps people to live longer, healthier, and happier lives – free from the devastating effects of cancer. The money I'm raising plays a huge part in keeping this going.
