London Marathon 2026 !!
This year I've decided to take on the challenge of running a marathon. I’ve run a few half marathons before, but never the full 26.2 miles. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and apparently running for hours on end sounded like a fun idea... so here we are. Excited? 100%. Nervous? Hell yes. Questioning my life choices during early morning training runs in peak aussie summer? Absolutely.
But this marathon isn’t just a personal goal. I’m running for World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF), a charity whose mission means a great deal to me. Having seen firsthand the effects cancer can have on individuals and families, I know how important it is that we continue to raise awareness, fund research, and empower people with knowledge that can quite literally save lives.
WCRF focuses on something incredibly important: preventing cancer before it starts. Their work helps people understand how lifestyle factors — like diet, weight, and physical activity — can reduce cancer risk. They create reliable, evidence-based health information and work to shape policies that support healthier lives.
I am incredibly proud to support this cause. If you’re able to donate, share my page, or simply send a bit of encouragement, it would mean the world. Together, we can help WCRF continue their vital work and take steps — literally — toward a future with fewer cancers.

Why World Cancer Research Fund?
Tuesday 18th NovEvery day around 1,100 people will hear the words ‘you have cancer’. Over 420 of these cases could have been prevented, that’s a staggering 155,000 people every year. World Cancer Research Fund, are passionate about reducing this number.
As part of an international network of charities, they’ve been funding life-saving research, influencing global health policy and informing the public since 1982.
While society continues to search for a cure, their prevention and survival work helps people to live longer, healthier, and happier lives – free from the devastating effects of cancer. The money I'm raising plays a huge part in keeping this going.
Can’t wait to see you in London
