Why World Cancer Research Fund?
Because we live in a world where too many of us have been touched by cancer ❤️
The London Marathon 2026 falls exactly two years to the date of my own diagnosis. I feel so lucky, every single day, that my diagnosis and treatment were possible, thanks to the people who devote their lives to eradicating this disease, and to all those who walked the path before me.
Now, I'm so honoured to be a part of an amazing team of runners and fundraisers taking on the London Marathon for the World Cancer Research Fund. A charity aiming to tackle the root cause of cancer, with an incredible aim of 'a world where no one dies of a preventable cancer'.
This is so so outside of my comfort zone... but isn't that where the fun begins..? ☺️
Every single donation will inspire me so much to put one foot in front of the other, and I am so deeply grateful for any support! 🥰
Lots of love Nikki xxxx

More about the World Cancer Research Fund
Every day around 1,100 people will hear the words ‘you have cancer’. Over 420 of these cases could have been prevented, that’s a staggering 155,000 people every year. World Cancer Research Fund, are passionate about reducing this number.
As part of an international network of charities, they’ve been funding life-saving research, influencing global health policy and informing the public since 1982.
While society continues to search for a cure, their prevention and survival work helps people to live longer, healthier, and happier lives – free from the devastating effects of cancer. The money I'm raising plays a huge part in keeping this going.
Very proud of you!! Will be cheering you on as you finish! xxx
