Help conquer cancer & support my 2027 London Marathon
In the decades since my Grade 1 classmate lost his mother to cancer, I've lost track of how many people I know who have been touched by this disease. While I'm incredibly grateful that my own mom is now in remission after a years-long battle, her quality of life will never be the same. Meanwhile, many of my friends and cousins have lost out on sharing stories, meals, celebrations and milestones with the people they love. I can't take away that pain, and I can't cure cancer. But I can run the 2027 London Marathon in support of the World Cancer Research Fund.
As part of an international network of charities, the WCRF has been funding life-saving research, influencing global health policy and informing the public since 1982. Every dollar I raise will help support that vital work and bring us closer to a future with fewer cancer diagnoses and better outcomes for those affected by the disease.
I'm running for so many people, spanning the Leith, Fisher, Gee, Clarkson, Michaleski, DeLittle, Barr, Megale and Bosco families. This race is dedicated to the people we've loved, the people we've lost and the people still fighting.
