Why World Cancer Research Fund?
I will be joining the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April 2027, and I want to use this opportunity to raise money for cancer research. I want to raise money for World Cancer Research Fund because cancer has affected so many people and families, including people close to me. I believe that supporting research is important for finding better ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer.
Running a half marathon is a personal challenge for me, and I want to use that challenge to do something meaningful at the same time. Knowing that the money I raise will help support cancer research will motivate me throughout my training and on race day.
I hope to raise as much as I can and make a positive difference, while encouraging others to support such an important cause.
